About your concrete contractor in Imperial

We're a concrete crew based in Imperial, and we put our effort into the ground prep, forms and joints that decide whether a slab holds up.

Imperial concrete, learned the hard way

I learned concrete under a strict old-school boss who made me tear out anything that was only close enough, and I still hear him when I'm setting forms. After years on his crews, I started Advanced Imperial Concrete here in Imperial in 2021. Close enough still gets torn out.

Most of our calls come from homeowners, plus people building new and owners with a small commercial lot. We're known for flatwork, the driveways, patios, walks and floors that lie flat on the ground, and for slabs that stay put because the prep got done right. We're licensed and insured, and you'll find everything we pour on our home page.

What I care about is the part nobody sees. Ground prep, forms and control joints, the cuts that tell a slab where to crack, decide whether concrete holds up. When a budget gets tight, the base is what people want to cut, because it's buried on day one. Skipping it is how a cheap job gets expensive, so I'd rather lose a bid than pour on ground I don't trust.

What working with our Imperial crew is like

Your house isn't a job site to us until the plan's settled. We'd rather spend an extra hour at the estimate than come back to tear out a slab that went wrong.

  • Same person, start to finish

I come out to look at your job myself, and I'm on site running the crew on pour day. Nothing you told me gets lost between the estimate and the work.

  • Pours timed for the weather

We plan each pour around the heat, the sun and the wind, not what's handy for us, because concrete poured in midday heat can get a weak, dusty top.

  • Straight answers, even unwelcome ones

If your job needs an engineer or a soil study before anyone touches it, we'll tell you so. You'd rather hear it at the estimate than after the pour.

How we run a concrete job

Every job gets planned before the forms go in, and the site gets cleaned up before we leave, so the only thing you're left with is new concrete.

  1. I walk the job

After you call or fill out the form, we reply within one business day and set a time for me to walk the job and ask my questions.

  2. Written price and plan

I put the price in writing, free and with no obligation. We check permit rules with your city or county office and help with the paperwork.

  3. Prep, forms and pour

We dig out and pack the base, set the forms and check where the water will run, then pour, finish and cut the joints on time.

  4. Clean-up and handover

We clean up and haul off our debris, then tell you when you can walk on the new slab and when you can drive on it.
